Gem
diamond/gem/jewel
Gem Stone is the official emoji of The Olympia Collective chosen by Advisory Council member, Bowie Starr, in 2020. It is a jewel or gem, as set into a ring and depicted in the shape of a classic diamond but in the bright blue color of an aquamarine. It is commonly used for various content concerning jewelry, as upon an engagement or marriage. But in our context, it conveys various literal and figurative senses of person, organizational, and philanthropic wealth, preciousness, sparkle (fun!), focus, and clarity. Gem Stone was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015. She is also known as
Diamond, Gem, and Jewel.
